Intertwined Poem by K J

Intertwined

Tearing away the soul
of a heart that's black as coal.
Wither in your own body,
dieing in this life...
release the tearfull melody,
project the sounds of your heart-filled cries.

Believe in my love,
believe in my tears...
Believe in every kiss,
I could give you through the years.

Break the spirits of the lost,
take their strength in as your own...
Leave them broken, that will be the cost,
they pay to make you whole.

Shed your empathy,
Oh, how I wish that you could be like me...
Be not afraid to take from others what you need,
once we intertwine our lives, off each other we will feed.
