In the wakefulness
and the height of awareness
I listened to the sorrows
and pleasures of your heart.

When I put the blues
of your eyes in my mind
I stared at them constant
without any twinkling.
I felt lifeless
and eternal joy ran like
electric current
through my blood streams.

I am happy that
you have come running to me
escaping the cruel unkind eyes
in the streets.

I know
we shall be together
and our love
like two shadows
clinging to each other
will be hanging in the air
even when
the wings of death
will envelope our moments.
