Insect Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Insect

The ants go to war again
Hive mind in psychotic brain
Colonies over resources fight
They're wrong and we're always right

The enemy can be anything i suppose
Today them tomorrow maybe those
Egged on by the media blitz
Now east when once it was fritz

No border to demarcate
The foe walked straight through the gate
Who let the snake in the house
Every lord a treacherous louse

But this time there's nowhere to hide
From the hypersonic nuclear tide
Eventually all to succumb
When smart bombs are held by the dumb
