Inner Sea Poem by Ima Ryma

Inner Sea

Rating: 3.0

Sometimes the sea is oh so calm,
A time and place where I can float
Under the sunshine's soothing balm,
With gentle waves under the boat.
But then there comes the feeling that
This calm is just before some storm
To rock my peaceful habitat.
And sure enough, the gray clouds form.
The rains do pour, the winds do blow.
The sea no longer is my friend.
I am afraid that I will go
Into despair to never end.

I am adrift in inner sea
Within mad mind that thinks for me.
