Indian Independence-75th Year Poem by Prem Nizar Hameed

Respected and beloved fellow citizens,
Elixir of patriotism flows through our veins as we
Proudly celebrate our 75th year of Indian Independence
Under an umbrella of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, which
Began from Mar 12,2021 and will end on 15th August 2023,
Linking from Kashmir to Kanyakumari with great harmony;
It was the honourable Gandhian Pingali Venkaya who had
Conceptualized the idea of designing the first National Flag.

Over the years the flag has become the symbol of our pride,
Flying high on our motherland, and our hearts and thoughts!

India is the largest democracy, we have manifold cultures,
Numerous languages, various religions, traditions, etc
Definitely, the gist of our golden concept and slogan
Is always Unity in Diversity, the quality of Hindustan Hamaara!
And let's sing in unison: Vande Matharam. Jai Hind.
