In Your Arms Forever Poem by Robinson Jonathan Dare

In Your Arms Forever

A lost island I was

Wandering around like a lonely cloud

Emptiness oozed me around like an imprisoned air

I was so dazed and disillusioned

Though so many longed for me

...Kings and Princes,

Even twerps

Choc-ice they all were

But my spirit waited... waited for you alone

Suddenly you blew into my life with graceful grace

You came with abundant charm and charisma

You rewarded my Israelite wait for the perfect one

Bringing into my soul the Saviour's calm

So calm as Heaven's serenest deeps

With my trepidation blown away,

It's you and me forever

Your arms and heart I have made a home forever

Even when death brings a breather,

I'll love you forever
