I see you from afar
My heart begins to pound
Of course I know why
The pounding is love's sound

That's the noise it makes
Each time you come into view
It always pounds
Every time that I see you

Would I stop it if I could
Probably not
The pounding lets me know
Just what I have got

Hopefully this love is here to stay
Hopefully it will last forever
Hopefully as time goes by
It will just get better and better

So every time I see you
My heart begins to pound
In you I know exactly
What it is I found
