In Thought Of You Poem by welkin siskin

In Thought Of You

Rating: 5.0

These times in languor led
Finds the solitude best
In thoughts of you.
My sights, needless to uncover you,
My senses, needless to find you:
Your eyes, your breaths, your skins,
Your touches so very calm,
They reflect before me;
Your words, your love and your profusion
Of passion- undying!
I do not need more; nothing is less valued of you:
Your whispers like the unending songs of saplings,
Your voice an unforgotten resounding of cuckoos,
Your care the eyes of Juliet-
They tenderly seek me,
I tenderly seek of them,
That's the love we possess:
As seas far spread, as winds with smooth,
Quiet constant motions,
We are flung far
Into experiencing the best of jubilant state;
These moments too short to relinquish
For anything other than our cruise
Indeed, across the infinitude of time.
