In The Past Poem by Cece Winters

In The Past

She felt like she forgot who she
was, before him.
One day when listening to old music
she used to listen to,
They brought back this feeling of
empowerment she used to feel.
This flirtatious woman that knew
her worth and would find
comfort in music.
Teasing the guys with simple eye contact.
She knew the way she naturally acted around
their presence, attracted them to her
mysterious-ness.
What happened to her?
Love.
