In The Morning Of The World Poem by Richard (Narad) Eggenberger

In The Morning Of The World

In the Morning of the World

In the morning of the world I slept,
A deep fulfilling dreamless sleep
And in the night a vigil kept
Of peace descending pure and deep

To found on earth the spirit's rule
And bring to earth its cherished dream.
No more shall humans play the fool
Or thrash about in ego's stream

But stand for Truth and in Truth live
The life that we were destined for
To the Divine all homage give
Walking through the open door

Of a new life where beauty reigns
And bliss and joy through love remains.
