In The Depths Of Longing Poem by Mohammad Younus

In The Depths Of Longing

In the depths of longing,
My heart seeks to praise him,
A praise sincere and pure, but,
Beyond all human praise is He.

For He, the Causeless Cause,
Is the origin of all things,
From joy to pain and suffering,
His invisible hand in every phase,
With our Heart's eyes we perceive.

The world, in its cruelty,
Unfolds its scheme,
Yet He, in grace, grants
What our deeds decree.
In Him alone,
I find my truest dream,
May I, in His presence,
Forever be.

Through darkness' grasp,
He guides me to the light,
Each trial, a spiritual journey.
His mysteries unfold,
In the dead of night,
In His divine love, I take refuge.

For divine love is life true,
An irrefutable truth profound,
In its gracious embrace,
Our souls forever bound.
