In Paint
with candescent brush
and palette of burning hues,
this canvas is barely finished...
i would add a dove
for the color blind to see
and cast a rainbow
to stop the storm in the sea
i can put hummingbirds
to quell the sound of drums
let me white out the color red
and highlight the olive branch.
