In My World Poem by Andreas Simic

In My World

Rating: 5.0

In my world there would be no wars
Parliaments would agree to agree
Any sort of "ism" would have become obsolete
We would develop color blindness to skin tone
Not care where someone came from
Or what they did for a living

All seats on a flight would be first class
Privilege would be the domain of all
Homelessness a thing of the past

Hunger cured with kindness
Cancer humbled by science
Global Warming eliminated

Women's rights would be everyone's rights
Pay equity more than words used as an excuse
Guaranteed Income keeping economies vibrant

Division mended through mutual understanding
Rush hour replaced by work from home
A three day work week the norm

Covid19 sent packing
Health a priority for all
Prayers answered
