In My Self



I lay my life on the line,
To protect and serve a future that was never mine,
I come and pass an eternity this curse will last,
While unknown forces imprison me,
My mind and soul now enemies,
I’m lost you see in the labyrinth beneath my skin,
Somewhere I should never have been,
Now I wonder how and why,
I’m lost left to die….
