In My Head
A shudder went
Down my spine
Just as a thought
Was running up
Under my feet
The ground squelched
In pitch dark
My eyes nothing saw
In my nose
A putrid smell rose
My hands felt
Cold, wet and slimey
My gut heaved
And my bladder
Could not hold
Panicked, I shivered
From my head
Came no commands
In eerie silence
My mind echoed
Then I heard
A calming voice
Larger than life
