In Light Of Eternity
In light of eternity,
that incomprehensible stretch
and impossible grasp,
life is short,
perhaps as long as a nanosecond
but probably shorter.
Yet there is time enough
to throw off
the immortal garment of presumption
and to love the one you love
as if there were no tomorrow.
