In Life Poem by Tina Rizk

In Life

My love,

In life, I strove, fought and lived strifes
I walked, talked, fell, rose and survived
Days, nights, under the rain, the sun
I smiled, cried, smiled again, failed, won

But God sees. God rolls not the dice
God writes my fate, my birth, my death
Life isn't a playground for kids
Time runs fast, can't sit, sip and skip

Sometimes the waves of fate push our
Ship to another horizon
Life taught me to embrace the storms
Not all come to disturb the path

Some come to clear and clean the path
God has sowed love within our hearts
It's fate that brought you back to me
Real soulmates are always destined
to be reunited again

For their hearts are bonded by love
They are two halves of the same soul
Two halves destined to reunite
forevermore....
