In Faith's Incubator Poem by Gary James Smith

In Faith's Incubator

In Faith's Incubator

In faith's incubator
Is the seed of victory
The Spirit of God hovering near
To set the prisoner free
When we repent of our sin
And place our trust in Christ
The new life by being "born again"
Will one hundred per cent suffice

For He is worthy to be praised
Who took sins penalty
And gave us a righteousness not our own
To enjoy our liberty
And know the cleansing power of
The blood of Calvary's Lamb
Heirs now, joint heirs with Christ
Who is the great I Am

My faith has found a resting place
Where I can come and pray
And know my Saviour's love for me
Throughout the night or day
And nearer is my God to me
When I come to Him as such
In close communion with Him there
I sense the Master's touch

Fill me Lord with Thy Spirit
That I might sense Thy power
And be of service voluntarily
Throughout each wakening hour
To do Thy will O God I ask
Use me afresh each day
Help me prepare for each task
Anointed when I pray!
