In Case You Don'T Know Poem by William Jackson

In Case You Don'T Know

Rating: 5.0

In case you don’t know,

Of all the women I’ve ever met,
You drive me the craziest.

Of all the women I’ve tried to forget,
You have remained unforgettable.

Of all the women I’ve wanted to love,
(But couldn’t) ,
You take my breath away.

Have I lost my senses?
Am I out of my head?

Ask me to go away,
To leave you alone,
And I will.

But, ask me to stay,
To see you again,
And I’ll
Make it
Worth
Your
While
.

Provocative title. And the content of your poem does not disappoint. Very warm and expressive. Your last stanza is compelling. Warm regards, Sandra

Romantic poetics in powerdrive, here, Bill...Very nicely done, my friend, as always. I like what i am thinking may be a very sebtle, yet designed closing structure, ti partner up with your closing words...Then again, could my mind be merely thinking in places, that will ultimately force me into my monthly confession with Father O'Leary,2 weeks earlier than uaual? Excellent Work, Bill! ~ FjcR ~
