In A Tear Poem by Dr Dolston L Morian

In A Tear

Softly from my eyelids so tenderly it rolled
Packaged in it was the language of my soul
There in a tear many stories be told
Stored in the memory a tear!

Softly on my cheeks and with sob
Wrapped up in misery is this liquid dub
Consternated in my quivering hush
There, in the quiet voice of a tear.

Did you see that silver drop from my chin
Folded with notes of my misgivings and sin
Written in letters of silence I be still
There, in the notes of a tear.

There to the ground it fell with a splash
Revealing to all my how hopeless I am
There, in the dark a soft and tender hand
Erasing the marks it made in the sand
There I found strength in my tear.
