In A Red Tortoise Poem by Norman Jin Shyr Wang

In A Red Tortoise

Rating: 4.5

He loves his tortoise
too much to love/ it
walks, a walk with elephant's
demanding feet of Efiffel Tower
his money spent
to reach the tower
the ears flop his
wanting wings ever/ It eats
the cabbage, eats
his heart out-smart /cute
and adorable to a baby
in the beauty of her red
cheek/ sucking mother's
milk and spilled
all over the shirt
an alleged shower.
