In A Mystical Union Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

In A Mystical Union

Rating: 4.3

God - and the unity
of God with the soul
is so complete as to seem
incredible, since He is so
high Himself as to be beyond
the reach of intelligence.

The sincere seeker reaches
farther than heaven,
yes, farther than the angels.

We want to reach far,
far beyond measure
and yet we find that
all that to be understood
or to be desired is still not God,
but that where mind and desire end
in that darkness, God shines.
