Impulsive Consequence Poem by Rose Falcone

Impulsive Consequence

Rating: 5.0

Impulse strikes hard and fast
Problems and issues of the past
Remain unsolved
And yet
We are here

Miserable time ticks by
We deny what we already know
Mistakes happen
And yet
We are here

Hearts can be so stubborn
Letting go is a seemingly impossible feat
Choices limited
And now
We are gone

In a way, we never let go....for the memories linger. All is not lost......there's a new day on the horizon!

Interesting read. Conveys the idea that we all must be, at some time in our journey, weary and sad. Don
