Impertinent Of Shadow Poem by SRIRANJI ARATISANKAR

Impertinent Of Shadow

Shadow shifted very close beside me.
Another crafty shadow playing a somersault
Started altercation;
Even Stood on the highway and tipping the wink
Started collecting rents in kind even from light-goers
Indulgence makes even a shadow so powerful that
it's impertinent knows no bounds.
I realise to the bone.
