Imagination Poem by Tom Billsborough

Imagination

Rating: 2.3

You quit me like a light,
Shadow snake so slight,
And sway in unison with a darker music.
And though I try with slow narcotic chants,
Or shrilling pipe, or tapping feet,
To capture from your comatose release,
Your essence, words cannot express
Your elusive substance.
