Illusion Poem by Dorsey Baker

Illusion

Rating: 5.0

Baby I thought!
you loved me
I thought you were mine
but it was
just an illusion

I was too blind to see
that you were just
making a fool out of me
Baby the love I thought I saw
it was
just an illusion

Illusions can sometimes
fool us
into thinking
that the truth is what we see
but in reality
the truth can never be
the mind is full of confusion
when love is not real-
but just an illusion!
