If You Would Show A Little Love Poem by Leslie Alexis

If You Would Show A Little Love

I wish to inform you of a fact
It's something very few know.
It is like fertilizer to trees
Something to help you grow.
Then when the timing is right
The signs of it you will show.
Its bounties will be plentiful
And all of mankind will adore.
It will bring wonderful peace
And make a friend from a foe.
It will be free for the taking
And spreading your only chore.
By you graciously giving
You'll be given even more.
Now this is the famed secret:
Love is the most valued store.
More than all of earth riches
It's found behind heaven's door.
Its expanse knows not limits
It covers here and yonder shore.
It makes bums feel like princes
And gives you much splendor.
It's comes as hugs and kisses
And forever does endure.
You're always guaranteed plenty
If just a little you would show.
