When I lie in my bed late at night,
and I think to myself oh what a sight!
You must be, lying in yours, tonight.

And I lie and I wonder and I think and I ponder, weather you know I know.
That what you are giving me is no average show.
and that you don't want me to go.

But its late at night and there I am again in that place.
Where I can be anybody I want to be and see anybody's face.
And when I see yours again, my heart quickens it's pace.

But I know that this show is not the real McCoy.
But I can't help, and I can't stop, feeling this feeling of joy.
That you inspire, even in the dreams, of this happy boy.

You are there whenever I close my eyes, just as plain as day.
And I hope you know that if I were king, I'd want it my own way.
Then all the people in this land or that, would have to do all that I say.

Then neither time nor space will ever be able to separate us.
Because this would will be right, and all will be good and just.
And we won't have to dream about seeing each other when the day turns to dusk.

Because we'll be together forever and ever until our time is through.
And we'll always be happy, and merry, and bright, and forever the skys will be blue.
And when were together, we'll never worry about what to do.

But I'm not the man with the master plan, and I don't have a say in this.
And I want you to know that even gold will never match one kiss.
And it makes me mad and kind of sad, thats its you my heart does miss.

And so one more kind word from me to you, before the last verse.
You make me so happy from head to toe, that I think I'm gonna burst.
And I wish I was there to kiss you and hold you, for me theres nothing worse.
