If we could look beyond today
And see what is to be,
Would we be sorry?

If we could look beyond today,
Despite what we've been warned,
What would we see?

If we could look into tomorrow,
Searching for an answer
To calm our mortal curiosity.

If we could look into tomorrow,
Would we see what we wanted to see?

If we could look beyond today
And closely watch this worlds future,
Would we see the hidden things we've searched for
All our lives through?

If we could look into tomorrow,
Would the sun still shine,
And would the grass be green?

If we could look beyond today
Would we see the things we've always wanted to?
