If There Was An Ocean Poem by Rebecca Stansfield

If There Was An Ocean

If there was an ocean-
Where we could store all of our dreams,
Where they could temporally abandon us,
And where we could not abandon them.

But I do not suffer,
I suffer not, I die.
Because sleeping I almost realise,
My dreams can't abandon I.
