If Mind Happens To Die Poem by umaprosad das

If Mind Happens To Die

If mind alone happens to die
The victim could not even cry
It is the life in severest pain;
Living corpse remains in vain

If the body passes away forever
Nothing is left behind to suffer
Body and mind both die at a time
The killing of 'mind' alone is a crime

The body becomes a corpse in life
There is no hope, no purpose to live
The mind has become inanimate
Killing time, then a severe threat

The victim could not even pray;
For betterment or hope of ray
For freedom or enlightenment
The worst state of life attainment
