If Jesus Was A Woman Poem by Milos Jovanka

If Jesus Was A Woman

If Jesus was a woman.
She'd know the price of nails
And the weight of pain
Before they touched her skin
If Jesus was a woman
Everyday she'd walk through sorrow
And know the ire of the eyes
Before walking down Via Dolorosa
If Jesus was a woman
She'd have judas for 12 friends
And everyone of them
Have John the Baptist spin his head
If Jesus was a woman
Water would be her wine
In tears of blood that spread
From some eminence divine
If Jesus was a woman
She'd would have worn stones
And a crowns of thorns
From the Manger to the grave
If Jesus was a woman
Knowone would know her name
