If I Were A King. Poem by Babatunde Olusegun Ajayi

If I Were A King.

Let the globe be sold
For uncountable priceless currencies of gold,
I would have lived my entire
Life, everything to satisfy your desire,
If I were a King.

If I were the most richest on earth,
I would buy the planet Earth to build you mansions,
Castles, Resorts and Palaces beyond imaginary fashions
For you to reside infinitely in my heart,
If I were a King.

If I were the Omnipotent
I would command core cardinal winds
Never trample your foot, relax! On their wings,
But I am speechless, my shames claims me impotent,
If I were a King.

I will love you now, now, more and more
My heart companion, you're my all,
And behold, only Death do Us part,
Our bona-fide love, priceless in the Mart,
If I were a King.
