If I close my eyes I won't have to see
Just what life has made of me
Its so hard to stand here all alone
To find the strength on my own
If I close my eyes sleep will come
And I'll no longer think of all I haven't done
Maybe I'll dream of long ago
Shadows in my mind I've never let go
But when I close my eyes I see your face
And there's no where to hide from the pain
It grows inside
Tears don't help so I've found
Time won't stop the rain falling down
Inside me
Maybe if I close my eyes
They'll never open again
And maybe
I cab find peace from within....
