Identity Poem by azmat naushad asif

Identity

Gods do not sin
Angels can not sin
A privilege bestowed
Upon us mortals only

All the seven deadly sins

Pride & Envy,
Gluttony & Greed,
Anger & Sloth
And last
But not the least,
Lust

Makes me
What I am -
A characteristic of
Being a human being

Without them
I will rank myself
With the angels

Or better still
I will declare
Myself
God
