Ice-Cold Faith Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Ice-Cold Faith

Rating: 5.0

J-ust warm the ice-cold faith,
A-llowing it to be ardent;
C-omfort the hungry heart,
K-eeping it far from torment.
I-ce-cold faith fades slowly,
L-et it ignite the flickering fire;
Y-ou should shine or burn
N-othing but the sacred desire.

L-et February fourteenth
O-pen the heaven's gate;
M-ind of the fervent one is far
A-way from ice-cold faith.
