I Would Let You Live Poem by Lama Abbas

I Would Let You Live

I would let you live in this tormented soul of mine when you are gone
I would let you dwell in a corner of my heart
In the heart where infinite tempest of desires arouse and tattered this ever alive soul alive soul
I would hold you tenderly like a flower holds the dew dropp in an early winter morning,
And will keep your soul ever afresh
By the breeze of the breath that I slowly take
But I won’t fret that you are gone
Because within me you live in a million ways…
