I Wonder Poem by Eddie Rodgers

I Wonder

I wonder what's beyond our world past the clouds in the skies and galaxies in space, of is there another world out there more grand and enchanted heavenly then this place. Is it waiting to be discovered and magical wonders uncovered a place where every emotion u can feel and hopes and dreams could always be seen as real. Maybe its a place so pure that for every disease that existed here on earth there you would have a cure or, Maybe there would be no room for corruption and madness and we could package up and abolish grievance throwing out the never healing sadness, and for once everyone in the world have a burden free soul now this is a tale of life that has gone virtually untold. Would a man or woman be able to walk out on open land and see, animals running around in their natural habitat free and roam the earth because it would not be owned by the likes of you and me. Could everyone come to an agreement to strive for success and get along promising that we won't forget our words in the mist of the day as it passes by and goes on. Could war be trapped never to escape and break out again because no one would care who was more dominant and who could destroy more countries and win. Would the land be free of all the destruction that man has begun manifested and toiled and placed in the once rich tormented soil, and the waters be clear again with no traces of over spilled oil. We seek this place but does it only exist in the deep thoughts of our minds, or is it meant to be forgotten about like everything else only to be left behind. These thoughts are what I wonder in my mind between other worries and plaguing past times. I hope that if I'm not able to one day see at least my daughters and grandchildren nieces and nephews, will say this is a place they love to be. I wonder if one day ill be able to look out a window and view, a world that less hated demoralized corrupted and poisoned by few.
