I Wish Poem by Always Alone

I Wish

The buds of flowers grew
and shadowed our home.
Your promise gladdened,
But you didn't come.
We went on waiting.
Can't you see what you
have done with us?
.

I wish, in the beginning,
you had told us you might be late.
We would have been a little assured - and you.. the night.., we wouldn't have sailed in your sea watching the stars.
It is said that the absent
has his reason with him.
When you are absent
We are the one to be blamed.

Moments and hours went by.
They were long, but we
Went on waiting.
When the wind moved the door,
Passion hastened before the eyes.
Then we had a look at the street.
It would be lost in the
Downtrodden tears.

The feast that brought the people
didn't bring you.
Have we been forgotten?
Despite that it is you
who made us sing for love
as a souvenir and devotion?
Our tears have become the pillows.
So try and find us redemption.
