I Wish Poem by Samarah Essler

I look up into the sky,
which I wish was not so high,
cause I want to reach out,
but I can't seem to,
is what I am feeling right,
it seems like I've losted my sight,
is this all wrong? ,
maybe I should put it all in the past and be strong,
thats what I'll do,
I just hope I'll make it through,
I just wish you could see,
please I can't let this be,
sometimes I really hate being me,
as I try not to cry I can feel a tear in my eye,
I wish that this thing called life was all a big lie,
my life will always be the same,
boring dumb and lame,
I wish I can say my life was just a big game,
but its not,
and I wish I can also say I had alot,
I just wish that wishes were real so life did'nt have to be such a big deal.
