Don't you know babe, I could handle all those words
The one that said we were nomads and would fly away like birds
Or the ones that said we were stupid for holding on this long
Because we knew we were bound to fall, we were never that strong
Or the ones that came put of your mouth that said you had her Tongue in yours
Or the one that accused me of him and caused so many open sores
What about the ones you said that we wouldn't make it through the night
Or the words that said I was weak and wouldn't put up a fight
The only words you said that really drive me over the edge
Were the ones you wouldn't look at me when they were said
It was the ones that's stated you didn't want to love me
Only for one petty reason-that I wasn't pretty
