I Want To See My Savior Poem by Cindy Wyatt

I Want To See My Savior

I want to see my savior in the morning
Oh, how my heart has a yearning and a longing
To be in that fair land away from all sin and temptation
And to shout the victory song of my salvation
To feel the freshness of the morning dew
And the joyous delight of beholding all things new
What a glad day it will be to hear the angel chorus singing
With the heavenly music in my ears sweetly ringing
I can hear my savior now calling and saying
Come on my child, let's go home without delaying

II Corinthians 5: 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
