I Want A Home Poem by Jaishree Nair

I Want A Home

Rating: 5.0

I want a home
Where the specks of grey on the blinds does not concern me.

I want a home
Where the messy sink does not leave its marks on my hands

I want a home
Where the sly cobwebs does not design my corners...

I want a home
Where the muddy floor does not exhaust my tired limbs..

I want a home
Where the soiled laundry does not let me lose sleep

I want a home
Where the fragments of the bygones does not dampen my spirit..

I want a home
where I can curl up
rest my tired soul
and slip into the bliss of lassitude..!
