Night by night I dreamt of you my darling
looking out the window
my soul sought after you
wanting only you
hoping to awaken to your sweet fragrance
Your very scent still haunts me
looking out the window
I missed you
and how my heart burns for you my bride
how I long for you and yearn to be reunited
hoping that one day you will be forever mine
and me forever your's
eternally
I promise to love and to cherish you forever
Looking out the window
I searched for you and yet I could not reach you
Your heart no longer belongs to me
but mine still abides in you
it resides and longs for you
and each beat of each rhythm
is a new song I sing for you
looking out the window
I find that I've lost you
and I fear that I may never again find you
yet each day I am reminded that I still love you
let me protect you from harm
let me guide you away from pain
let me embrace and reassure you
let me hold you and call you baby
let me kiss and sing to you
without shame or dignity
I ask then
let me be yours
and you will forever be mine, my love
