Laughter to tears
This is what
I always feared
Love gone wrong
Words became so strong
My heart can no longer
Keep hanging on.
I tried what I could
My love just wasn’t that good
I know in my mind this is a lie
It was not me who couldn’t hold on
But you and your heart
That closed this door
And threw everything to the floor
Now I see and now I will
Pick my heart up
No longer will I hold the door
For the love we had
Is no longer anymore!
