I Thought About You Poem by joyce vajda

I Thought About You

These words are for you only
My nights are low and lonely
You left me out of the blue
You had your reasons I had no clue
I waited so long to make it right
Together sharing the morning light
I thought about you
What else can I do
Loving me through the dark
Leaving behind our passage to part
Two were together now your wanting to be alone
You played me as if you wanted a home
I thought about you each memory takes its place
Why can't you explain face to face
I thought about you
What else can I do
Looking upward, inward my love true and strong
I thought about you hurting others, It's wrong
Your trip of freedom to my door
Don't love em then leave them anymore
Hurt, tears and sorrow completes a man like you
What more can I possibly do
I thought about you
What else can I do
For once in your life be honest and true
Today and for always I thought about you
