all the bruises
black and blue
but when you ask
she denies the truth.

you ask the quetions
that she avoids all the time
you ask her just to tell you
what is on her mind.

at school she's just so quiet
and you see her all the time alone
she says that nothings wrong
but shes nervous when shes on the telephone.

explaining everythings perfect
and that they are so in love
but that does not explain why
he will always push and shove.

she will say its all her fault
and that she needs to love him more
yet she will always complain
that her body is sore.

now when she sees me
she will look so scared
just like she is going to die
be up and dead right there.

'RING RING'

i got a phone call tonight
the most terrible news
my best friend was dead
and she was found nude.

they said it wasnt that long
just a couple hours ago
the last thing she said
we will never know.

there is just one thing i wish i could say
just for her to hear and know
was that she was my bestest friend
in the whole entire world.

i look into the sky tonight
i see a star rip across the sky
i see her smiling down at me
and then i start to cry...
