I Saw You Naked Poem by Genevieve Surrender

I Saw You Naked

Rating: 4.6

I saw you naked
outside my window

you looked cold
so I went outside
to be cold with you

I know why I don't like you
it's because you are cold
but sometimes
It's good to be cold with you

Remember a few months ago
when everyone wanted you to leave
but I knew
that once you were gone
we would all miss you?
so I learned to love you
and I loved you being cold
because I was warm
on the inside
but you made me cold
on the outside

I saw you outside my window
you were naked
so I took some of you inside
to warm you up
but then you melted in my hands
and I had to wipe you up off the floor

who knew that if you wern't cold
you'd become such a mess?

If this is a riddle I'd say the answer is snow!

I like it. You extend your metaphor nicely. I don't know exactly what it means, or 'transfers' to, but it's pleasurable, playful, and intriguing to read.
