I remember the days,
When your hand was wrapped in mine,
Our footsteps quick but soft,
Eager to get to that place,
That place where we loved,
That place where we kissed,
That place where we hugged,
The place that remains close to my heart,
Forever and ever!

It was love at first sight,
The very first night,
My phone ringing constantly,
My heart pounding into outer space,
Why 'o' why did it have to end?

I've moved far,
Too far to ever love you that way again,
But I do know that I will always love you,
As my friend,
And my long lost soul mate.
