i'll be there to treat you right
at any hour of the day or night
if you need someone to stand by you
i'll be there forever this much is true
when you look at me, your eyes twinkle
so i make a wish
that wish is that you would feel for me
like i feel for you, when your sad
i'll be there to hold you, hold you tight
when your happy i know i did something right
when i put my trust in you, and you put your trust in me
we both'll feel free, careless and beleive
that we can go the extra mile
and when you smile
it makes a dark day go bright
when were together everything goes right
your the light at the end of the tunnel
guiding my way through the darkness back to you
when your gone i think about you
everyday through and through
when you with him i wish i was in his place
when he does something wrong
i'll do it right to show you how much i care about you
